Maya gets the Shanti virus, and starts giving it to people. Nice, but Maya's plague is almost instakill, so I think Maya's virus>Shanti's virus.

And the virus (at least the form we've seen so far) is nontransmitable, otherwise Molly would have infected Parkman,HRG,and Kirby Plaza showdown and Haitian would have infected Haiti.

somehow people are getting it (how did molly get it in the first place? the haitian??)

my guess had more to do with some sort of synergy, i.e. virus evolves when she gets infected with it

who knows, virus became "stronger" when niki was injected with it. ok thats a stretch but i feel like that's how the whole show is going (maya is going to arrive in NYC right at the climax of the show, the two plot arcs meet and boom apocalyptic future)

I don't know how you know this so definitively. The Haitian couldn't manage to stop Nathan from flying away when he and HRG man tried to trap him. And when they were trying to catch Claude, they couldn't stop his invisibility.

I suppose the Haitan just didn't think to block their powers. But they were on a mission to go catch the guy with powers. You'd think he'd have remembered.

I think the early version of the virus that Shanti/Molly/Haitian got was just a genetic mutation. (You're super powered=.00001% chacne of Shantism)

Not blocking Nathan-maybe they didn't realize what he could do (doubt it though),thought he'd go peacefully with the gun on him, and once he took off it was too late.

Not blocking Claude-They had thermal goggles on, no need to block. Peter froze time due to lack of a block and flew away.

In the future, Haitian was stated as being able to block anyone.
