Default RAZZTOBERFEST 2007: the MTT!

OK, Full Tilt came through and, by popular demand, we have a Tournament!

Go to Full Tilt/Tournaments/Private/Razz/October 6/$10.

You can register now. I already did.

I made it password necessary, so it would be a forum event. But ANYONE who PMs me gets the password, so if you aren't a forum member just register to use the PM feature. You do not have to give your poker handle, post anywhere if you are a lurker, or anything else. If someone PMs me and then sends the password around to others, remember it is case-sensitive.

I set it for the first Saturday in October, so any one without a Full Tilt account will have time to arrange that. I made it 3pm eastern so as many as possible could take part, I think it will only be a bad time for those in Burma. (Sorry Burmese 2+2ers!)

I'd like to invite all the Razzers, high stakes, mid and micro, and anyone who thinks Razz is so simple it can hardly be called poker. Let's get some Hold 'Em players in here!

I'll be bumping this thread every day or so.

Is the payout and blind structure standard FTP? Having played several razz MTTs on FTP I know the limits get way ridiculous in the later stages of a tournament. Recently in a $20 MTT with around 20 entrants we all had like 5 bets each when it was down to 6 people. Therefore I would suggest modifying the tournament to be double stacked, or having longer levels.

Standard Full Tilt. Modifying the structure wasn't one of the options they gave me.

Maybe after this one you can set up a New Year's Eve Tournament with a different structure -

It's also a bad time for old people who like to take naps on Saturday afternoon. I'll see what I can do about getting some money on there, though.

If you bump this thread every day, I will become annoyed with you. Once a week should be more than enough.

I didn't. We pay for it by the fee, the $10 is actually going to cost us all $11.

Andy: when I said every couple days, I meant about twice a week if it got dead. Which I imagine it will in the next three weeks. I wanted people to find it easily who see the trny at FT and follow the trail of crumbs I left to the forum. But I could just leave it for you to do, if you want.

Never po a Mod, that's my motto!
