Default $6 Dollar buyin: JJ in the big blind after minraise and limpers.

First hand in this tournament, so everyone is unknown to me, call or raise and how much?

Honestly, just shove right now in a 6, you get called my a bazillion bad hands. An UTG MR in a 6 is still trash.

I just call for set or overpair value.
I dont feel like coinflipping AK or AQ early with little dead money in the pot.

I'd call as well and if my JJ is an overpair I'd bet the pot or more on the flop. Shoving is what, a 1920 chip raise at like 400 chips? That's overkill

The point is that if you shove you will either take down the pot pf or get called by worse hands much more often then you are called by a better hand. If you simply call or make a small raise you will win the pot much less than with a shove.

The amount of chips is only 220, I'm a good enough player at this level not willing to coinflip in this situations for so little money, I raised it to 400, a satisfactory line? I didn't get reraised but just 2 callers, obviously if someone had put me allin I would have called.
