Villain is 25/17/2.35. This feels like a standard call down, but I never win here.

wow i don't think it's a standard calldown at all. he has a pair here a huge amount of the time like a3 or a6 or something, or k9. i often fold the turn.

Yeah I fold the turn. Chances are you are beat. Don't forget AK is also in his range as well as all the pairs. I think you are behind to often.

this is pretty close to how i play this hand most of the time, sometimes i fold the river but.

Without a read, I will typically call this down, at least the first time. There are enough draws on this flop for hero to c/r. Hearts, stuff like 45, 78, etc. Most of the draws would be beating you by the river other than hearts. I'd call here just to make sure villian won't 3barrel a low flush draw.

Instead of calling down, wouldn't it be better to raise the turn and take the free showdown?

NO! read Stox book on when to to do that. But basically you shouldnt when you have outs if 3-bet and you shouldnt unless you can fold a better hand. Raising for free SD in this spot is terrible.

Nina. I def dont think this is a standard call down. A lot of draws got there in particular on the river. I think you have a pretty easy river fold.

I agree with you on the river. I should at least see the river here and call if the river is like the K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], correct?
