Default tough spot vs snake8484

snake is a solid high stakes regular who I probably shouldn't be playing heads up but I ran really good vs him for our first few hundred hands so I am stickin around, giving action.

this hand was pretty tough. I think preflop, flop, and turn are pretty straightforward. river is the hardest part. it's basically just a question of how often he's bluffing and what types of hands he would take this line with that would result in a river bluff. it's impossible that he's trying to value bet a worse hand (QJ) from my experience with him.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $50 BB (2 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero ($8503.70)
BB ($7649)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $50.
BB raises to $150, Hero (poster) calls $100.
Sometimes I re-raise here with the button but I decided to keep pot smaller because I definately didn't want to get 4bet preflop and reverse implied odds

Flop: ($300) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $250, Hero calls $250.

Keeping the pot small for now

Turn: ($800) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $650, BB raises to $1800, Hero calls $1150.
[b]

Oh yeah! A flush draw! Hmmmm that's a tricky sized check raise. I would kind of expect a bigger c-r with monsters as he is giving me great odds to draw

River: ($4400) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $3800, Hero

I dont know the tendencies of him or your match but its not like you look that strong either. I can see a good player play draws and smaller pocket pairs like this. I dont mind a call

you're saying snake never check raises this turn w/ a draw?
or that he checks the river with a missed draw?
