Default rolled for the $50\'s now. too fast?

well I have 20 buyins for the 50's. I'm playing the 20's right now. I'm trying to decide if I should keep playing 20's, start playing 30's, or jump into the 50's.

I'm pretty confident at the 20's, and am sure I can beat the higher levels. I've only played about 90 20's though. My BR is growing faster than my skill.

So I guess my question is how much harder are the 50's than the 20's. Also should I bother with 30's or just skip them?

Thanks for the help.

I would play the 30's for a while and go from there . I would want more than 20 buy ins just to be on the safe side .

I dont think you should skip the $30's. There is a small increase in skill vs. the $20's. Why dont you finish up 100 of the $20's and then play 100 $30's. If you are still winning move to the $50's.

Some people will still say 100 is not a big enough sample, but you can always step back down if you hit a bad streak.

You could play two $500's and try to build your bankroll that way.... But seriously, don't skip the 30's because there's a huge leap in quality of play from my experience (a handful of 20s and a lot of 50s), and if you have a chance to break that leap into increments, you should do it. I don't think it's a matter of bankroll requirements, but more like going too high too fast and not being able to adjust to the change in skill levels and playing styles. Kind of like making the jump from AA to the majors- you might wanna make a stop at AAA before Randy Johnson is whizzing fastballs at your head.

nice post lee. I have decided to play 30's and omg, what is wrong with these people. The first 5 games that i've played have all been against terrible lags. It was soooo easy. just slowplay them and make them bluff their stack with nut low. I think if I keep finding these guys my winrate will actually increase.
