utg is 30/20/2.6 over ~100

does my flop/turn line rep a set?
will he ever fold TT+?

flop sucks, esp oop. Depending on villain I either call and reeval. or raise to like 35 planning on getting it in. U should prob just chech fold the river as played.

Shut down and c/f on river. This is ridic easy. What would he seriously calling you down with whole way that 99 Beats? I guess he could have a smaller pair, but most likely he has you beat. I don't like c/ minraise at all. Perhaps c/c flop and donking turn for like 2/3 pot, or c/r flop to like $32 or something where you can find out right there if you're good.

thx for the comments.

do you think he ever folds anything to that check/min-r?

is there anything that calls the flop and then folds to the turn bet?

at least I got one street right:

River: ($114.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $43.85 (All-In), Hero folds.

priceless insight from a keen observer.

anyway, plays that look 'ghey' work very well at times, particularly when they put you in a pigeon hole for a keen observer.

fwiw, this c/min-r may suck, but if i were facing it i wouldn't be thrilled at the prospect of felt w/ JJ or AK or whatever.

my thought at the time was that my hand wasn't strong enough to bet out into so many hands, but prolly too strong to fold once it gets HU.

c/c sort of seemed like dead money, given how often i'm scared by a turn overcard.

i figured that this line would look like i wasn't really trying to fold him, but rather trying to price him into stacking off with three less than pot sized bets w/ his 'obvious' overpair.

i mean, what does he put me on?

also, ghey or not, if he never folds this is a good line for a set, no?
