Default Alternative line

I took a different line than standard with these two. What do you guys think? Or is betting the turn much better, and as played then calling rather than raising river?
Thanks

Not betting the turn in the first hand is criminal. He'll often call 3 streets with Qx and there's draws to charge.

As played raising the river is the way to go.

Edit: Same goes for the 2nd hand, not trying to go for 3 streets of value and getting the money in while the board looks good is bad.

like nr said, bet turn on both, we really don't have much reason to check behind and keep these pots small...

there are draws in both hands and we are IP, so no reason not to build a big pot in which we could get paid nicely on all streets...

Since you already stated that these are alternative lines, I don't hate either. But for the most part just bet. Getting fancy at SSNL doesn't usually pay.

Thanks. Yeah even when I was typing up the post I was thinking 'hmm these guys aren't aggro enough to try this line on'.
I should be betting as standard unless there is a seriously good reason not to, like a Q72r flop and a guy who bets every single river if flop is checked through
