HUSNG NL HE: 3rd hand, another noob question

Hi.
New to HUSNGs. I've played one some minutes ago. My opponent has raised and won the first hand, and folded to my raise in the second hand.
The following hand I raised 10-10 (from the sb), he reraised and now I???

Is a push a no-brainer at this spot? If I know that my opponent is a good player, I have no problems with pushing. If I think that I have an edge, maybe calling and taking a flop to see 'how many overcards' are coming is the right play?
Btw, I pushed. I mean 10s should be a little monster heads-up, shouldn't it.

What do you do with: 22-99, AQ, AJ...at the low blind-levels without any knowledge about your opponent?

TT is a very good hand HU Its not unusual to be getting reraised light in husngs. I would push with TT. IF they have a legitimate rr hand its probably to big unconnected cards and I am a favorite most of the time. Once in a while expect to be shown AA or 88

These are good questions to ask as a new player to HU tournies, but you need to include the following in order to get better answers:

1. Stakes
2. Stack sizes
3. Bet sizes

They're all pretty important things to factor in.

It pays to raise .

The only way I call is if I have some information on the guy .For instance , if he's super aggro but smart enough to fold to my shove pre , then I may just smooth call in position .

I would be more apt to call than shove vs a good player. Especially if he's aggressive. You'll get paid off on a lot of flops and he'll be c-betting almost 100%.

In the 5s-11s I'd shove this vs a lot of players and expect to be ahead of the random player's calling range.

Edit: Another note before somebody replies, obviously against the right "good" player you should 4-bet shove TT.

another question i have forgotten to ask. say if stack sizes are 2000:1000, we are the big stack while blind level is 1 or 2 (so opponent is maybe not reraising that lightly). if we assume the same action as above, would it be an easy push with 10-10??? if we lose a hand like that, we swap stack-sizes with our opponent, who now would've the chip lead, but otherwise 10-10 is a powerful hand... if we consider our opponent to be really thight, i could see me folding, altough the temptation to end the match soon would often be irresistible.

Don't ever think in terms of "well we have the chip lead."

Always think in terms of effective stacks aka whoever has the lesser chips, you both have a stack of that size. Therefore, in this situation you both have 1k chips, it doesn't matter who is winning as far as your decision goes. The flow of the game may matter, basically how your actions have influenced his up until now and in the future, but you should never base a decision on you having a lead or trailing the match.
