Leaving Las Vegas

Oof, very good call too.

I watched this the other night, didn't care for it much at all. Nothing really happened, Nicolas Cage just was drunk the entire movie and lied around the motel or apartment mumbling incoherently, and occasionally he went outside to buy more booze. The ending wasn't sad at all to me, but I didn't really take to the storyline or characters. I think overall it had good potential, but you found out pretty quickly he was never going to even attempt to get sober or have any sembelance of a life. Also didn't make any sense why Shue was so attracted to him in the first place or wanted to have some meaningful relationship with him.

Didn't mean to ramble like that, but it was truly one of the most bizzare flicks I've ever seen.

Couple of movies that made me cry off hand ..

Life Of David Gale - very good movie, Kevin Spacey is amazing in this.
Click - Like everybody else I didn't expect it to be much more than a standard Adam Sandler hit, but it was pretty good, especially with how goofy the main idea behind the movie was.
Pay It Forward - I didn't think this was an amazing movie, but it was good. The ending was very sad though.
Old Yeller - Amazing movie for being so old.

There are definitely more but my brain is fried at the moment and can't remember any others.

why the [censored] are people saying click? wtf is so sad about the movie? he learns his lesson and becomes a better husband/dad and the acting blows and is has since after happy gilmore cause he has never grown as an actor. it also is billed as a comedy for gods sake.
you should be embarressed to put click on the same list as brians song, hotel rwanda, crying game, etc.

Agree with many of the others mentioned, though the ending of Blow makes me sniffle.
