Default JTs against posters

CO just sat down and MP2 had been sitting out so no reads.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1. MP2 posts a blind of $1.50.

Flop: (8 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP2 bets, Hero raises, CO folds, MP2 calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls.

River: (8 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 8 BB
I guess flop play is standard but should I take the free card on turn?

I'm torn on flop. I'm having a hard time seeing what mp2 is betting that you beat, the raise folds the CO and maybe clears up some outs, but I dunno, your J outs have some nasty reverse implieds and I'm just not seeing a spot where you're not drawing to like 3 winning outs a little too often.

At worst I have 4 outs on flop (unless MP2 has QJ, JJ or AJ all of which he probably would have raised pf).

Don't know about the flop play. You have 3rd pair, a gutshot and a BDFD on an all-broadway board. What does the donk mean here? I think I just call. No need to drive out CO when we're behind.

On the turn you picked up a bunch of out. I take the free card here (bet with outs, check without). I would hate to be raised since I would have to call the raise.

As played I check behind on the river and expect to lose quite often.

I don't like the flop raise either, unless you were hoping to pick up a free card on the turn. If you weren't, don't. You're behind in the hand more than likely.

Check behind with out on the turn. You might get to raise the river if he sees you as weak and you hit one of your draws with position.

*grunch

The flop is a little scary and you mentioned no reads on MP2. i think the only time he connected was on the flop; probably not the A since he played passively one pair throughout the play. Maybe an attempt to steal on river through a bet? just worried he has Q pair or T pair with higher kicker

Nice case of poker dyslexia my friend. Of course, I didn't even notice because I saw the standard phrase and assumed it read as I figured it would.

if i'm raising the flop, its for a free card on the turn. We picked up outs, but didnt essentially improve our hand. As played I'm checking the turn, and folding the river UI if bet into.
