OH,

Vendettas 2 took care of that with an "ultimate" champion (StephenH), so there was always something to play for.

It's impossible to appreciate the awesomeness of Vendettas unless in the game.

Let me throw this idea out:

Secret ballot, only thing revealed at end of each night is who was lynched, nothing else, but each night each player gets to peek a player and learn his/her vote from the night before.

Wait, wolves couldn't fake this. Hmmmm ... I feel like I'm on track for a good idea but haven't fleshed it out yet.

Bring it. I'm a big fan of Diplomacy, so I'm in for cutthroat manipulation games.

Vendettas is my single favorite game I have ever played on POG. The scheming is just intense and there are so many strategy paths you can take. It lets you take out your grudges, the good natured and not so good natured ones, in a socially acceptable manner.

The only thing is that it is hideously complex to mod and I have to hand it to Durron for doing it twice. It is a game that has to be perfectly balanced and the more potential night action choices the better the game. I would say that is a game where it is vital that your vote be kept public.

I think having a secret vote POWER in Vendettas would be awesome.

I also think there's game mechanics with WW that would be wicked with secret voting. Once I figure one out, I might run it.
