Default PLO100 - Top set short handed

Ok i dont play much HU as it dosent really interest me, the rake kills you and to be quite honest i suck. Not played much with Villan (500 hands, he has just sat down) - he dosent strike me as very good (58/6/1.6) and is abit of a calling station (wts 36%). What is hero's best move on the flop??

Easy re-pot. It is unlikely that he has an ace so basically any paint + a 10 on the turn is a scare card, repop hope he pushes with a smaller set and not a wrap. gh

EDIT: Obv a Q is not a scare card.

If your opponent is really passive this looks like middle set. I would smooth call and hope he fires again. Then get it allin on turn. If you believe your opponent will never fold on this flop, then by all means shove the flop.

I think this is rubbish,. If ever there was a chance for a tarp this is it. He may have two pair and be essentially drawing dead (maybe with a gutshot) and will want to protect it on the turn. Potting it allows him to make a good fold. 'Shove and hope he has middle set wtf?

I like to call and reevaluate the turn (not every scare card is an outdraw for us). So we get outdrawn, big deal. I think to maximise winnings, on this particular flop we must call.

I would smooth call; We have position and the turn should be easy enough to play.

P.S your not heads up

Someone who is a calling station is likely to be passive with two pair or straight draws. Hence "calling" station. That said, my post said calling flop is my prefered tactic here.

I just call as well. I would raise on the turn against his QQ.
