AJ - reraise preflop and whiff flop
This is from the final table of the 13.5K gtd $24+2 on full tilt. we are 4 handed, im chip leader, villain is in 3rd and is 30/26 over 75 hands. Ive restole from him the previous orbit. I suppose my preflop raise could've been bigger, but what do i do now?

Re: AJ - reraise preflop and whiff flop
Raising to 75-80K forces him to committ pre. As played, I think his range for flatcalling is two broadway and the A-high hands that he doesn't want to 4-bet with pre (maybe A8-AT.) If u accept this range, then c-betting will be profitable here, since he has way more 2-broadway card combo's than A-high combo's that hit TP. I'd prob c-bet and fold to a raise, since he's only making a move here with JT.

Would it be wrong to put him on 33-77?

Would it be wrong to put him on 33-77? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, because that's totally arbitrary and wishful thinking. At this point in the action he could just as easily have 88 as 55. Or AQ. Or TT. Or KQs. Or a wide variety of other hands. |
