$22r JJ on the bubble
Villian had been pushing UTG a fair amount. Is this an easy fold, insta call? I thought long about this one.

Nobody had called any of his pushes. It wasn't every time, but it was often enough to make a call worth considering. That's why I thought quite awhile before I made a decision. Stack size of course made a huge impact on my decision.

If he has a brain you should be behind his range but that is a lot to assume at this level. He should be pushing a lot but since he is pushing through a deeper stack on this hand he should be playing pretty conservatively. He could easily make a smaller raise with say TT and fold to your push. Fold, if he has a brain.

[/ QUOTE ] im fairly certain "having a brain" here may very well constitute a looser pushing range, as he is trying to exploit your conservative play with shorty still around, making this a call. definitely semi-read based....

Definitely not an insta-call. I'd only call QQ+ here, but JJ should be okay too.
