Good business people know every aspect of the business they are in and the cost of every little component. You dont buy something from someone for $100 when you know they paid $10 for it. They are pulling $100 an hour plus off every table when it cost them $10 an hour tops, with all the marketing employee salarys and [censored]. World Poker Exchange is charging 1/4 of what pokerstars is, so what im saying is obviously true. Everyone sign up there and tell everyone else too and stop being complete imbeciles.

Wealth is a zero sum game.

1,000,000 non pro poker players. Well say they all make $30,000 a year after taxes. They all pay $5,000 a year in poke rake. A total of 5 billion dollars. For simplicity well ignore all expenses of the poker sites.
The owners of the sites have for themselves. Just estimates.

Calvin Ayre =$1,000,000,000
Isai Sheinberg =$1,000,000.000
Chris Ferguson =$500,000,000
Howard Lederer =$500,000,000
Ruth Parasol =$1,000,000,000
Other site owners $1,000,000,000

Now the one million moron players should all conspire to drive the rake down 50%, then the owners have half what they have while 1 million people have who are poor have $2500 more a year for themselves. Better yet, drive the rake down 75%. This is how the world works kids. Im giving you kids lessons on life. One day youre going to realize how right i am when you are working paycheck to paycheck for 40 years. Wealth is a zero sum game, these corporation gobble up as much money as possible from the masses. Online Poker/gambling is the worst by farrrrrrrrrrrrr offender in the entire world. Okay fleecing the masses with financial markets setup in every country in the world is #1. Online poker/gamlbing is #2.

I am awesome, i know, you kids could learn alot from me.
If the owners of all these sites read my posts theyd all agree how dumb u all are and that kid is exactly right, i wish hed shut up, nah, it doesnt matter, morons are unreachable, it doesnt matter what he says ..haha

Here's a list of my monthly expenses:

Rent $1200
Car insurance $200
Cell Phone $40
Internet $40
Poker Rake $2000

When the average person only makes $16 an hour is taxed down and clears $12 an hour..and then they play 15 hours of poker a week and are charged $10+ its a fin problem.

100% of online players should put $50 in a world poker exchange account so theres 100,000 players on that site and all the other sites are forced to compete on rake. Poker rake can fall 75% and these sites would still be profitable businesses. You are all morons. People have a natural inclination to disagree with someone especially when someone
who is telling them they are idiots, which more than half of you really are.lol

why are u so vague on the stakes you play, profits, and hands per month, but detailed in berating all of us "kids" and remember every detail of world poker exchange's company line. Any site with no rake exclusively for in the know pros and 2+2ers won't be very profitable imo. party poker didn't used to be so profitable before it closed because it had low rake, in fact I can't remember the rake ever being much of an issue.

so what you're proposing is for a bunch of people with a lot of money to invest millions into a business with the intent to charge less than they are able to out of the kindness of their hearts so that poor people who suck at poker (like you) will be able to go out and blow more money on other gambling related activities?

sign me up plz.

ps:

i pay $15,000 a month in rake, and my income outside of poker is zero dollars. oh noes. where could the money come from?

HOW CAN ANYONE SAY THE RAKE IS NOT MUCH OF A PROBLEM?????? OMG

Low limit cash game. $100 an hour+ comes off the table or more. Say in a 10 hour period there is $4000 on the table. In 10 hours the house has 25% of the money, $1000. And this in just one day. Playing day in day out, the house gets allllll they money.

$100 Sit n go. 10% fee, 9 handed, $990 total $90 for the house. $900 left for the players. The best players are only avg $10 a sng profit these days, while the house took $90 for itself almost all of which is profit. And the majority of the players in these sngs are losing $10 per sng. THE HOUSE GETS ALLL THE MONEY.

$100 Heads up SNG. Each players pays $5 to the house. You are risking $105 to win $95. 5% disadvantage. Those odds are as bad as a roulette wheel.

$100+20 Multi-table Tournament = 17% of the prize pool to the house.

I agree that poker rake is too high, and it's about time there was some competition in this area.

POKER RAKE IS A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT ESSENTIALLY COST ABOUT NOTHING. THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
POKER AND EVERYTHING ELSE.

[/ QUOTE ]

Running a big poker site costs essentially nothing? Ok, no point trying to argue with you.

Have a nice life in alternative reality.
