Default Question about combo draws

So, villain stats aren't very important here, it's more a general question: Take a hand like this:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Poker"]http://www.flopturnriver.com/reviews/Online-Poker-PokerStars.php#converter]Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($28.55)
UTG ($20.50)
MP ($22.85)
Hero ($34.90)
SB ($56.95)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB calls $0.90, 1 fold.

Flop: ($2.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.5, SB calls $1.50.

Turn: ($5.25) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks

Now, I lead the flop with the intention of 3-betting all-in if I'm raised, but once I get called and blank the turn, should I tend to check behind, or continue to show strength? Obviously money going in now is not "getting in ahead" (assuming the other guy has a pair) anymore, so what's the plan?

This is a great card to bluff on, I'd usually check behind but we have a really strong draw and we almost always have some fold equity here. If you get raised it sucks but I think betting here is very +EV.

In this case where a scare card hits, Im betting 3/4 to pot nearly every time. A huge part of his range is weak hands (Tx, 8x, 5x) and crazy draws that will fold to more aggression, so I would continue to bet hard even when the scare card doesn't hit. I am still very happy betting and getting called on the turn, you have crazy outs. AGGRESSION AGGRESSION AGGRESSION

I would bet again the majority of the time. With slightly deeper stacks, as in this case, I'd be inclined to bet more often. Villain will likely not commit himself light with more money behind. Also, you'll be able to play a bigger pot with a deceptive range when you hit.

Ya, bet again. Unless he has a monster he's going to be very nervous about what you might have.

Anyone bet the flop harder? I like a pot-size bet here.

I don't like making pot-sized bets after I raise because then it demonstrates that I'm willing to make that bet. I just bet around 3/4's usually, since then if I'm just c-betting with nothing, I'm not risking 1-1, and when I actually have a hand, it gets a decent amount into the pot.

I can't count on my bluffs to work more than 50% of the time, so I can't bet the full pot.
