Default My Ace-Queen Problem...

Limper in this hand had limped previous round with ATo and called 6 back from BB push. I think I should have made a standard raise here to 4 BBs instead of shoving... thoughts?

I don't have the hand history but table was 6 or 7 handed, opponent limps in EP (covers me but not by much) and I shove for just over 15 bets.

Other pertanent information would help, such as where we are in the hand, approx. chip stacks, table position (how many are yet to act) & tournament position, along with your goal for the tourney.

I am assuming you are first to act and will be OOP for this hand. If there are no other factors and you firmly believe (as opposed to hoping or wishing) that ATo beats the majority of his hands, because you are OOP, I would strongly consider pushing. Now if he has the shorter stack, then than a 4xBB works. It allows you to get away with a workable stack (albeit not optimal) if r/r AI.
