Guys saying the three bet is big, look at the action. There are two callers before it gets to him. Pot sized would be $43.

schwza - I think this is a call. You're calling $175 to win ~$430, so you need to be 40-41% or so.

Given the history and the little extra bit of dead money, and the fact that he's never coldcalling that large a raise with AK, but probably thinks it's ok vs your range, I gotta think he pushes AK. And he has other stuff sometimes too.

Dead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 57.6226 % 55.86% 01.77% { QQ+, JhJs, AKs, AhQh, AsQs, AKo }
Hand 2: 42.3774 % 40.61% 01.77% { QQ }

It's a call by a nose even if you take out the one combo of JJ, but i think the range I ran is much more likely to be too tight than too loose.

schwza - look for a pm or email tomorrow. I have a couple ideas.

I call and blame it on variance when he has kings

Very very marginal situation. I think it's a thin call due to history and other considerations but you aren't making a big mistake either way.

It's close. But I think most posters are ignoring the fact that villain raised utg.

However, you're raise looks like a squeeze play, but it's still very very close.

This is a call given history. Vs. Unknown, folding is fine.
