Re: Beat: Absolute is *actually* rigged (serious) (read me)
So the two big questions now are how long has it been going on, and on how many sites?
Also, who are the people doing this??? I expect the 2+2 investigation team to have an answer by Monday |

We would also have a name and a face to go to as some form of recourse. I hardly think Mark Seif qualifies. [/ QUOTE ] Duh. |

Re: Beat: Absolute is *actually* rigged (serious) (read me)
its pretty amazing how much money this guy (these guys?) could have made if they'd been smart about it, or perhaps how much money they have made by being smart about it, maybe something tilted them and they decided to go berserk

Wow this [censored] is crazy. Someone please post more longtime graphs of the said cheating players. I think A2Steaksauce tried to but the image came out too small to read.

Hypothesis: MARK SEIF = GRAYCAT, DOUBLEDRAG - Seif lost alot on AP (at least half a million, maybe more): he wanted to get his money back. Also: http://www.internettexasholdem.com/p...s-vt34808.html MARK SEIF wouldn't have to "hack" into AP to get access to the "superuseraccount". He already had access to it! - Seif was fired as an AP-pro a few months ago, 1.5-2 months ago they hired him again. Around that time the GRAYCAT account showed up. Discuss [/ QUOTE ] I am not related with AP, UB or any other poker site and do not have anything to do with Mark Seif or any related parties what so ever. I will base my reasoning mainly on discussion made in this thread. Pure speculation: I think he thinks one level above you (no offense). If it is true that Seif was a part owner of AP (http://www.internettexasholdem.com/p...e-vt35258.html) then he must have made a ton of money when UB bought AP for 130M in Oct. 2006 (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=7652984). There must have been some sort of dispute between him and current owners so he got fired. I think Mark Seif is doing this to intentionally harm AP and it's current owners. Of course this speculation has a hole since he has cheated prior to Oct. 2006 but I guess he knew back then AP will be sold and he will make a lot of money regardless. |

[ QUOTE ] I think it's quite probable that there are numerous of these accounts floating around at the lower to mid-stakes games at AP, but with more intelligent people utilising the advantage in a way which wouldn't arouse so much suspicion. [/ QUOTE ] I doubt this, my personal experience there (a lot of hands) has been me beating just about everyone up. I wouldn't be running above 5ptbb/100 if this was true [/ QUOTE ] You definitely know the games there better than me, so I'll take your word for it that the suspicious activity there mightn't be as rampant as I'm thinking. I do think it is plausible that someone with half a brain (and if this is indeed an exploit) could mask their actions a lot better at a lower, well-populated stake, for a decent rate and not raise any flags. Doubledrag seems to have made every error imaginable if he wanted to get away with this. Btw Ike, I hope you are reimbursed by AP/DD, gl. |

Epic thread. What's up with UB? I'm going to withdraw for a while until this all clears up.
