Default Vid Card help for new monitor

I'm considering getting this 37" monitor:

I currently have a 128MB GeForce Nvidia 6800XT. Will this be enough to handle this monitor or will I need to upgrade my card? I don't really plan on playing games, mainly just want to play poker on it and watch TV possibly.

Are you okay with only having 1080 vertical resolution? There will be vertical overlap when 2 tables are stacked vertically.

As best I can tell, that card should support the native resolution (1920x1080) for that monitor, but to be sure, go to display properties, settings, advanced, and untick the "hide resolutions not compatible w/ this monitor" and see if 1920x1080 is one of your options.
