Obviously the sample size is small but that was my impression at the time.

Should I have discarded any read I had because I havent played much w/ him?

This doesn't seem like a passive player.. you try playing 45% of your hands and see how high your agg factor winds up.. Against a 45/5, this is an easy easy easy easy call.

Edit: I didn't notice the sample size, I still call, and jsut consider him an unknown..

You have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - so he cannot have the NFD. He might be doing this a combodraw. But most of the time, I'd expect to see some two-pair hand or a set here.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but how often do you see a 45/5 check/push a combo draw like this? I never do.

you have 20 hands on him, this guy could easily converge to a 25/10/2 type in the next 30-40 hands
