Carmel Valley is still officially evacuated, although on the union tribune's fire blog and message board, people are reporting that both the Vons and Ralphs are open, and the Papa John's is delivering pizza's. wtf

I just got outta San Clemente and went to Laguna. They say the fire on Pendleton is 10% contained but heading away from structures but all I could see from my deck was orange and smoke. Maybe I'm paranoid but I feel more comfortable.
