50NL: 20K hands and my BB/100 is...
1 BB/100. I know it's insignificant, but it feels gross to run so bad. I know I've also made mistakes, but just playing TAG position poker at this level should make for an easy 4 BB/100. I work on my game daily by posting hands here, watching Cardrunners videos, and going through Pokertracker after each session. I am just hoping things turn around soon.

it happens. FWIW I play the same stakes and am at 4pt/100 but lost money yesterday playing over 5k hands.

Just play more. If you're beating NL50 you'll start crushing it the more you play. Just figure out the leaks as you go along.

"just playing TAG..." I am not even old hand but my experience is it's not that easy. Don't take any significant WR for granted, even if you work your [censored] nuts off. I am @ 25NL, early retired so I have been giving 20h/day for poker since April this year. First limit and then NL since 2 months ago or so. Was running at 7 PTBB/100 for the first 10k hands or so @ NL25, now worse. Took a shot at NL50, got buggered big time. Back to NL25. I play, I study, read etc, 2+2, deucescracked videos, poker pals, rinse repeat... there are no shortcuts I think. It is much more difficult than prop trading spot FX for a living that's for sure. I am just trying to be systematic in my approach to learn and especially learn how to apply all the info.

sorry, hold your horses, 24h...sleep 9h, sex 1h, etc etc, make that average 4h, which includes holidays etc, but I have to say I am thinking about hands and theory a lot, too much. Still helluva lot.
