Default $100NL-Top pair & Flush draw in BB

Ok sorry dont have a hand history as I am at work.

Villian is 15/5/2
Hero 22/12/3

Effective stacks ~$80

UTG(Villian) Raises to $3.50
MP Calls $3.50
BB(Hero) calls $2.50 and is dealt J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero Checks,Villian Bets $9, MP folds, Hero raises $88.50

Villian tanks and calls $67 with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Turn: Brick
River: Brick

Is this a normal spot to want to get it all in on the flop if possible or should you want to play it a little slower than how I played it vs such a tight player who raised UTG?

you should play this hand like you'd play a set.

generally, bet/3bet would be better here (and also with a set) because of the huge size of your check raise.

Hand looks a little obvious to me if I were the UTG player. Doesn't look like a set at all which reduces your fold equity. Maybe PSR on flop then donk AI on the turn.

I really like getting it all in on the flop with 2 cards to come rather than with only one to come. Seems like I have better luck that way

I dont think I want him to fold his hand, what can I say I like the action!!

I am the eternal holder of the luckbox!!!, just not this time.

BJJIII (9:29:20 AM): so a lead and 3 bet would have been better?
BJJIII (9:29:24 AM): on the flop
BJJIII (9:29:35 AM): and then open shove the turn
Landlord (9:29:43 AM): yeah, looks like you're protecting against the FD
Landlord (9:30:08 AM): a lead and 3 bet would probably be an AI, but it wouldn't be as bad as CRAI
BJJIII (9:30:43 AM): the CRAI was bad
Landlord (9:30:49 AM): yeah
Landlord (9:30:59 AM): he folds AK is about all
