Default What is most profitable poker for \"grinding\"

I finally got a samsung monitor so I could 4 table and start "grinding" poker. Before I just couldn't do that and didn't have the patience with my other monitor so I rarely played. Im having a hard time deciding what form to start grinding poker daily and putting in good hours everyday at just that 1 form of hold em.

Right now im playing nl one hour, limit the next, some sngs etc, basically whatever i feel like. Im pretty sure it is best to stick to one and that would make me better and make more profit in the long run. I would like to know what is the best choice (easiest, can make more money per hour if good) for someone that is good at all 3 forms but just wants to stick to one to start putting in the countless hours in.

one thing to consider is that i play mostly at AP, and sngs have horrible fees there.

Only you can answer this - we don't know what your bankroll is, or what form of poker you're best at. Assuming you've played quite a few different forms extensively and have kept records, just play whichever one you have the highest hourly rate in.

I'm going to give you my process and draw from it/ask questions.

I built a BROLL with MTT's, decided to learn ring games.
I took about $1,000 roll to .1/.25 NL 9 handed games. I learned and am learning a ton, and am prepared to goto 6-8 tables. I decided purposely to pick starting stakes that were ridiculously small compared to my bankroll, which I think is very wise. Move up slow and play on profit. Play one game on one site, you'll learn the game and the players, and after a while when a stranger sits down you're probably agaisnt a fish, or someone uncomfortable with the game. Take good notes and practice all kinds of play, mix up tight/loose and passive/aggressive to figure out what's best for your game.

SNG fees at AP are standard--30+3; 40+4; 65+6; 100+9; 200+15. Plus AP gives 30% RB + 13% when clearing a bonus + another few % for cashing in your AP points--nearly 50% RB total for SNGS, much better than most sites.
