I think the Pacers are due for a 20 game losing streak.

Just going to bump this section, because Pacers are on a much expected losing streak

And we're back up to 8-8 now against one of the toughest schedules in the league so far. I'm starting to hope this team can contend for a 6-8 seed all year long just by being one of those scrappy teams that out-hustles everyone.

We just have to wait and see how Jermaine O'Neal can play in this system because we've played by far our worst basketball when he was in the lineup. So far we're 5-1 when he didn't play, 3-3 when he got under 30 minutes and 0-4 when he got over 30 minutes.

Dont ask why, but I've seen 4 pacers games thus far this season, and I think Jim O'Brien should be the frontrunner for coach of the year. His team night in and out is under talented, less athletic, but they've been playing TEAM basketball and he's been getting alot of production out of scrubs like Dunleavy and Tinsley.

Also, of all those predictions, looks like this was the one (this far) I've been wrong about

About JoN, I think the games he's played he's been hurt, or at least just not himself. Looks sluggish, anguished, and ished. (needed a 3rd adjective and couldnt think of one...) Im not ready to hop on the Pacers bandwagon (in fact, I really dislike their team and wont ever jump on it...) but if they continue to play at the rate they have been playing, i dont want my celtics seeing them in the first round

lol tinsley is horrible, where is his production?

i also don't know how you can give credit to players' performance to coaches. dunleavy long needed a change of scenery.

fact is pacers still don't have a SG.

Celtics would sweep them by like a average victory margin of 12+

NO KIDDING CELTICS WOULD SWEEP THEM YOU HAVE BRILLIANT INSIGHT VYSE

tinsley is horrible, no kidding, the point is this year he's putting up 13.8 pts, 8.3 asts, 4.5 reb, 1.6 steals per game, which is very good. i do attribute that in large part to the coach and the system

pacers dont have alot of positions, in fact id say outside of granger (and sometimes JoN) they dont have any quality NBA players

dude, why are you posting.

dude, this isn't fantasy. he's shooting 38% from the field and TWENTY SIX PERCENT from three, which means 13.5 FGA for 13.8 points, LMAO. toss in 3.6 to, which leads to a 15.5 PER, and frankly i'm surprised it's that high.

Bobbo,

I sort of agree with Vyse here. Tinsley is playing a lot like his usual sucky self. It's the completely unexpected performance of Dunleavy (and to a lesser extent Marquis Daniels) that's made this team average. If Dunleavy just needed a change of scenery and he keeps playing close to this level, this team will stay in the playoff hunt. I have my doubts but at least it's fun to get excited about this team that I thought would win 25 games.

Also, Jeff Foster is a quality NBA player. He's been in the Top 10 in rebound rate the last five years in a row and he's a very solid defender too.

I think "ished" is just about right for JO.

I actually kinda like some of their players. If they had a true Alpha Dog and a non-[censored] PG situation (Daniels is a decent player, but PG he is not. And we've dealt with Tinsley...) they'd be solid. In a way, just like the Hawks, but not nearly as much fun...
