Default Stephen Colbert, Ralph Nader

I hate self-centered, history making, third-party candidates. Colbert is in it for the publicity. Nader got Bush elected. Now this creep is thinking about running again. A vote for either is a wasted vote. It does not make a statement. Colbert is not near as funny as Ross Perot.

Colbert is in it for the exact same reasons as the other candidates, publicity money and power at least he's being honest about it.

Guys, Colbert is not running so get over this whole silly thing about him.

And you're wrong about Nader. He never got Bush elected, it's absurd to parrot the major news media's crazy ideas about 3rd parties.

Amen, Johnny.

If 1/2 the Nader voters in Nevada had voted for Gore, then Gore would have clinched the Electoral College, and Bush would never have been President.

Did those couple of thousand votes matter ? Hey, we have been at war for years because of them.

And if Gore has carried his own state he would have won.

If Gore protested the disenfranchisement of Floridian black voters he would have more of a chance.

The voters for Nader were pulled from approximately half democrats and half republicans.

Perhaps Gore should have utilized his greatest campaign asset, the Clintons instead of running scared from a supposed political liability.

Perhaps you should know that we don't live in a actual two party oligarchy, even though it seems that way. And people have a right to choose whatever candidate they want to vote for. Nader provided the needed service of standing as a candidate who represented a group of people who were not represented in either major party. His determination in the face of assured failure should be applauded not denigrated. It's repugnant that people actually blame this man for the 2000 election when all he did was provide an alternative choice.

Nader did not get Bush elected. Al Gore lost his home state. If he wins it, Florida is irrelevant.

It's much more likely that Pat Buchanan cost Gore the election by the retarded voters who couldn't figure out how to follow an arrow and voted for him instead of Gore.
