[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] 14:00 - take a lunch break, usually a peanut butter and cheese sandwich along with a cup of tea [/ QUOTE ] PB and CHEESE?! is cheese different in the UK?! [/ QUOTE ] Bear in mind we have real cheese in the UK. I usually use cheddar. and bear in mind that that's real cheddar as well. Its not yellow, its more of a cream colour, it being made from cream and all. I've never known anyone else who eats PB and Cheese sandwiches, so i could well be the creator. It also works well if you melt the cheese into the peanut butter to form a gooey mess. |

Re: The: A Day In a Life Thread
9:45 PM wife or kids are my alarm clock
eat something, which you'd guess would be breakfasty but it's usually not. talk to wife. 10:25 drive to work 11PM log into phone at work. take customer calls regarding legal research. also answer their emails and keep track of their feedback. 1 AM log out of phone go get "lunch" at far away cafeteria 1:20 log back into phone at work 6:00 log out to get breakfast at closer cafeteria 6:10 eat at desk. 7am log out. drive home. 8am talk to wife. get kids ready for day. watch at least one kid all day, sometimes 2. sometimes when I'm watching the kids I drop them at the drop in day care at the health club, exercise, shower. 3PM drop kids at sitter. hour of free time to surf the net, write, play poker, exercise, shower, etc 4:00 alarm goes off that I should go to sleep. 4:30 look at watch. think "I shoudl really go to sleep now." 5:00 actually go to sleep. Repeat. |

Re: The: A Day In a Life Thread
Only way I can keep myself motivated to continue to lose weight. If I know that I have to step on that scale and see what going to that buffet did to me for the next week, then I have a much greater chance of stopping myself before I do something stupid.
You also start to understand how food, exercise, drinking, and other things effects your weight. I think you understand more about your body and then you are able to adjust on the fly. I lost 40 pounds from January06 to October06. Gained 10 of it back from October06-January06. Back on the wagon. It starts by weighing my fat ass ever day. |

Re: The: A Day In a Life Thread
For instance, if i only weighed myself once a week I might not get an accurate representation of my actual weight over the course of the week. It could be that I drank to much water, had some food I didn't really need, or just bloated, constipated, any number of things. By weighing myself every day I have a better understanding of the fluxuations that take place.
It did not drive me insane at all. Actually, it really motivated me. I look forward to weighing in and seeing what my instant results. I noticed fluxuations day-to-day of as much as 3 pounds. And when you are trying to only lose 1-2 pounds a week seeing that is rather upsetting. But, you learn that it is just how your body works. It works for me. Probably does not work for everyone. |
