You got so tired of completely sucking in that other thread that you actually hopped over to do it here to? You take worthless sucking to Olympic levels.

Blarg - maybe you didn't get the memo, but Dids is something in almost every 2p2 forum.

Nice job crapping all over an otherwise good thread, guys.

Yeah, that sucked. Sorry CB, awesome thread. Also you've always been one of my favorite posters (primarily due to your NBA posts), so if they didn't already know OOT should know that you rule.

I have a friend who firmly believes you can get free Starbucks by using a $100 bill because employees are instructed not to break them. True/false?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've done this twice by accident, and got free starbucks both times. I suspect this trick doesn't work in Vegas though.

BTW ClassicBob, I used to have a real psychological addiction to Frappacinos. Got that felt super gay to even type. As in, I had to have one every morning, and then it developed to the point where I would round up a couple of people from the office and make a run after lunch. So this is an 800+ calorie, $8+ habit a day. And yet I never, ever needed one on the weekend. Haven't ever run into anyone with such a pathetic addiction, but maybe you have.

Also, I think a man getting whipped cream on top of cold drinks is super gay, not the least of which reason is that when it gets on his face it looks like a gay porn money shot. Just pointless calories on top of already pointless calories IMO.

Honestly, guys, it looks bad when OOT veterans go crashing a good thread (which is rare in OOT lately). Go make a "Blarg, make fun of me" thread elsewhere.

Punkass - if you read the above, you'll see I was a bit pointed in my original post, but then Blarg got very defensive (and still has not answered my question).

You would also think OOT veterans could handle some criticism, and be thicker-skinned.

Carry on.

CB -

Can you give me any secrets or tips or anything?

Like, "whisper this word and the cute barista will tickle your balls with her tongue ring"

or maybe just "Order X and you'll get double the coffee for 1/2 the price vs. Y"

jay, punk, Al: Yeah, jay and punk's posts are pretty much exactly what I was getting at with my comment "you'd be surprised how many economically challenged people patronize Starbucks." punk described the exact type of person I was referring to, and quids was referring to in his initial comment. The misunderstanding was that when Blarg said "economically challenged people don't go to Starbucks" he was talking about a completely different category of people than everyone else was assuming in the discussion.

Al: I think Blarg has very different opinions/ regarding class, the workplace, and socioeconomic stuff here, which often leads to some misunderstanding re: frame of references/assumptions/etc. around those topics.

kidcolin: "To be honest I didn't even notice the double entendre the first time." What is the double entendre there? I have a feeling it is probably super obvious, but I just can't see it.

Blarg: I am liking your unbridled aggression here, dude. Take no prisoners!
