Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
[ QUOTE ]
lol at there being a sunday. [/ QUOTE ] lol at your face [ QUOTE ] also, game 5 sucked. [/ QUOTE ] Looked awesome to me. This has been a pretty good series, regardless of the outcome. I'll certainly be disappointed if they lose tomorrow, but there's been some great performances on both sides. |

New Avatar for Game 6:
I give you Becks/Lofton Once again, if someone can host it elsewhere it would be much appreciated. I am going to try to shrink the file size real quick too. |

I'd be really interested to see your posts if the roles were reversed. |

[/ QUOTE ] As a Tribe fan, I second this. Boston just flat out played better in Game 5. Beckett executed brilliantly and our batters did not execute well at all. Here's hoping we can get at Shilling like last time out. KJS |

Beckett will only pitch in Game 7 if it goes extra innings or if it's about 12-12 and we've gone through Delcamaren, Timlin, Okajima, and Papelbon already. Becket is at best the #5 reliever on Sunday. Wakefield would probably get into the game ahead of him. [/ QUOTE ] Or if they can't play on Saturday or Sunday because of the weather. Let's hope for sunny skies and beautiful weather in Boston for the next couple of days . Beckett has had not just a remarkable playoff run, he's a truly had remarkable season. Wonder if Joe Torre would have pitched him in game 4 if he was the Red Sox manager. |

Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
When you review Beckett's record for the entire season game by game it's unbelievable really. Not a surprise at all that he was so dominant. Like I said yesterday his worst start was probably against the Rockies in Fenway.
CC is up for big money at the end of next year I believe. The playoffs aren't helping him in that area. |
