Default Re: 100NL AA vs drawy flop

[ QUOTE ]
OP obviously had no clue how to handle a check raise so you have to ask yourself...why are you betting?

And, yeah, because I think its a decent time to check this type of flop occasionally when the guy is clueless how to handle a raise thats why Im on a huge downswing.

I love how people pull stuff out of their asses and try to prove things they have no idea about.

Ok Before I go on I'm going to say I check A LOT of flops. It seems to work well to balance hands that I just check/fold after raising pf, and because it seems a good way to keep pots small when I'm not happy with either getting it in or folding.

In this situation its entirely being results oriented though. We do not want to give free cards to KJ/KQ/AQ/AJ/77!/JJ(depending on villian, but mostly discounted). Sometimes playing poker is going to be better than taking the safe route. It isn't even that bad of a flop since a lot of those overcard/draw hands could easily think they have a lot more outs than they actually do. Also because of the 60bb nature of this you don't have to worry about the awesomeness of your opponents implied odds.
