Default Playing Holdem Our Only Option?

I have been playing heads up nl holdem with my friend. He has been winning, probably 60%. I want to start playing other games. We were playing nl 5 stud last night and i was winning and he seemed confused. He then left to get more money and promptly ran out of gas, and never came back. I want to play triple draw, draw or 7-stud,but he is wavering. Anyways I'm tired of his trash talking, "I dominate you." I seem to have really good results playing omaha hilo at single table sit and gos. Anyways what are your thoughts? Are other forms of cards dead? Is holdem all we have left?

If you start playing non-holdem games, maybe others will start playing them too, then I'll start playing them, everyone will be playing them... I'll be anarchy!

Besides, the poker police have a very sophisticated underground network to detect non-holdem games and will probably just kick in your door and arrest you if you try it.

In fact, we probably shouldn't be discussing this. Can a mod please delete this thread?

I thought he was inspired by watching "The Cincinnati Kid," but his interest in 5 stud lasted about as long as a submarine with screen doors.

answer to EWS87:he just bolted=I could not stop him=We play alot on credit=that was not the issue=the guy is a freakhead=

answer to VickreyAuction: Yes we were playing no limit 5 stud=that is a freakin awesome game=I just paired my hole 8 on 3rd street=I check=my buddy caught a king on third=he goes all in tryin to scare me=end of game=Did you ever see "Cincinatti Kid," there were so many hundreds flyin around that table it made me hungry=and that was filmed back in 1962 or something=I believe that if you have a good idea of playing you can crush someone who LOOKS CONFUSED in heads up 5 stud
