Re: AS-Something Game Thread
SL has some good points though. I agree 100% with his thought that Luckay's vote is worthless for the most part. If Luckay votes you, do you really care (unless it's almost night and you're in danger of course)?

Re: AS-Something Game Thread
at the point I posted the Luckay trebek idea, the point was to just clear one villager, and lynch all the other unconfirmeds, and we'd win
it was, in fact, easier at that point to clear one villager then have an accusation clusterfest. I was willing to lose if atrebek was a villager. meow chow. I mean, pretty much all the information was out on the table at that point |

Re: AS-Something Game Thread
You should never want to lose the game ever. I think you're good Luckay, I just also think you think you're very good, and the gap there does damage to the villa sometimes.

Re: AS-Something Game Thread
Jack, I argue that it was easier clearing a villager at the endgame there then finding a wolf (both were the equivalent things. Well, technically, one has to clear 2 villagers there due to the bobo twist. But that's still easier then finding fcbl as a wolf)
I mean, I could have just literally gone down the line and instead gone: Lynch Eskimo Lynch Spook Lynch Boiler Lynch FCBL or Save Zurvan Save ATrebek both were equivalent at that point in the game, there was nothing else to learn, the cards were pretty much all on the table, so yes, I was willing to lose if I was wrong about trebek/zurvan |

Re: AS-Something Game Thread
on what you say about clearing villagers when it's not endgame though, I agree

Re: AS-Something Game Thread
I'd just rather have more fluidity at endgame then saying, we should never vote this guy and if he's a wolf, crap.

Re: AS-Something Game Thread
well, the point of an endgame with just one wolf left is that (this can be argued, this is my opinion) there is no extra information that can be gleaned barring a major slipup, therefore, the clearest villagers should be taken aside and not be lynched.
this is especially true in a situation where village has like 4 mislynches and 1 wolf |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree Neil, but at this point in the game where you had 4-5 villagers and a DEEPLY hidden wolf, all useful info has been revealed. You had a floundering directionless village (due to lack of current information/participation) that didn't want to go back and reread earlier events. I think their best strategy was the plan Luckay outlined. The last 3-4 days might have had 60 posts TOTAL with most of those being votes. Not a great wolf-hunting environment. |

Esk, my only idea of why you did it was you didn't want to die. [/ QUOTE ] the exact opposite of this is true. |
