i really wish i wasn't such a lame ass when it came to life, but i'm probably going to wuss out of quitting job and look back in a few years time and think what a [censored] waste of a really good opportunity by not quitting.

regardless though, there are definitely people up for it, so if im sure something will get sorted.

id be up for something like this. i dont think ive ever played at the gutshot sober. my most skillful drunk poker was when i was raising pot preflop without looking at my cards, calling almost any reraise, then looking at my cards. some of the old guys at the table were looking at me in disbelief, thinking who the [censored] is this guy. edit: strategy didnt work, -£500.

drinking chess is always a good way to start. although stops serving at midnight whereas vic serves till 2 or 3am i think.

Don't really like the Gutshot to be honest. Place is filled with tools and like you said they stop serving booze when I most need it.
