Also, on the A33 flop without a flushdraw playing AK that way is kind of standard vs anything but a maniac/fish, as long as your image is solid. You win the maximum vs TT/A8 type of hands and also lose the minimum vs 3x

Obviously depending on your opponent |

You played it passive which is not a strange line given the nature of this match, or? But I get your thinking [/ QUOTE ] I was leaning more towards betting into him on flop. I was pretty sure that he would put me on a pair or worse and go apeshit trying to bet the ace. I also figured it would spark some discussion about what is standard there. one of my leaks:
if it turns out early in the match, that villain is a calling-station and/or likes to make huge hero-calls, then i don't exactly know how to play oop against them. its very difficult to bluff, and also not easy to adapt to their stab at pots. |

My leak is boredom. I don't know how to fix this. I have a game running right now and I am not paying attention because I am writing this.
My main leak is that if you raise on the turn you will in fact river me after I shove into you. |

Re: Post a common leak and how to fix or take advantage of it (CASH/TR
I've been playing PLO SNGs a lot recently, and a very common leak I see is:
Leak: Villains telegraph AAxx and KKxx hands and put far too much money with them unimproved postflop. To exploit: Wait for an opponent to suddenly 3-bet who hasn't 3-bet all match. This is usually a sign of a big pair hand. I like to see flops when the opponent is telling me they have a big pair. Note that if you even make one pair on the flop with four unpaired cards you are generally a favorite against naked AAxx. This gets even better with you flop a big draw or a two pair hand, because a lot of villains like to pot the flop and some will gladly call their entire stacks off with an overpair. Also you can fold if you whiff completely or you don't like your draws. If you like 3-betting AAxx type hands, I'd also recommend 3-betting a few more drawy type hands like QJ98ds or 7654ds to mix up your game a bit. |
