Default Getting from NYC to Borgata without a car

Anyone know the best way to do this? I was looking at Greyhound's website, and none of the buses drop off at any hotels near the Borgata.

Subway to Port Authority to AC to Jitney. Easy. Cheap.

Great, much thanks. Any advice on what AC hotel to catch the bus to if Borgata is my final destination?

Trump Marina is the closest to Borgata (Harrah's AC doesn't take buses either), but service from Port Authority to TM is spotty at best.

just go to any casino on the boardwalk and take a jitney. it's a $2 flat rate no matter how far you go.

There is also the Acadamy bus line (check out schedules on the internet) leaving from Gate #1 at the Port Authority every half hour. Their buses are nicer and I prefer them over Greyhound. Less riffraff with Academy (they also have a frequent traveler program). Take the #2 Jitney from whereever you arrive in AC and you will be no more that 15-20 mins. from when you get on the Jitney to Borgata.

Greyhound doesnt drop off anywhere in the marina section so just take the first one that leaves to anywhere on the boardwalk, they go every 15 minutes all day everyday from gate 80(?) downstairs across from that horrible meals on wheels place.

When you get to the boardwalk just exit to the street and take the blue #2 bus and you'll be at Borgata in about 15 minutes for $2.

Maybe another question: what's the usual wait at the Borg for 2/5 NL on weekend afternoons?

depends on when you get in. Generally speaking, worse case scenario is 45-60minutes. On average the wait is minimal (<15-20minutes)

It was a while back, but I had a ca when I lived in south jersey. Still, I would park at claridge, jump on a bus and it would take me straight to port authority in about 2 hours. Much easier than driving. Can't remember what line but buses do run and it's a piece of cake.

Hmmm. Let's see. You live in the largest city in the US. You can't figure out how to get to the most "famous" casino in the second largest gambling city in the US. Give me a break.
