Default 3-betting ranges vs. steals

Typical $1/$2 NL online game. $200 stacks. It's folded to you on the button, and you open for $7. SB folds. BB repops it to $22.

You don't know BB, and you assume BB doesn't know you either.

What range do you put BB on?

Also, what range would YOU do this with if you were BB, against an unknown button?

Ok, yeah, this is about what I was thinking. Just want to make sure I've got my head on straight in this spot. From this and from talking to others, I'm hearing mostly 77+ or 88+, AJ+ or AQ+, and maybe ATs+ or KQ+, plus the occasional SC or something to mix it up.

Are your 3-betting ranges here (or the 3-betting ranges you're putting unknown opponents on) much different than if the open raise came from CO, or if it came from SB?

I would imagine they'd be slightly different, but not by much. Thoughts?

Don't you normally want to repop SC's in position..? also gap SC's... ? isn't that boardline insanity

What I'm curious about it why it feels like people 3-bet me more when they're out of position then in position. Does anyone else get that? And what is the reasoning behind 3-betting more OOP? Just because BU/CO have wider ranges or because you wanna get the stacks shallower, making your OOP decisions easier?

ideally you want to call with sc in position and repop OOP, if you play them at all.

calling with suited connectors oop is burning money
