Default 100NL BvB - Stop the bleeding!!

I've read in multiple places tht most people lose the most out of their blinds. (out of position and all that). So I'm trying to ensure I play tight enough yet aren't just giving away $$ from the blinds

Villain is pretty tight 17/10 over 130 hands

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

<font color="black">Hero (SB): $99.50</font>
<font color="black">BB: $293.85</font>
UTG: $113.30
CO: $60.00
BTN: $98.50

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
3 folds, Hero calls $0.50, BB checks

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($2) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $2.00</font>, BB calls $2.00

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($6) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, BB calls $4.00

<font color="black">River:</font> ($14) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $8.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $20.00</font>, Hero folds??????
Uncalled bet of $12.00 returned to BB

Pot Size: $30.00 ($1.50 Rake)

either raise or fold pf. I don't mind either one.

flop looks fine.

Turn i could see a check fold but this looks fine.

If he's that tight preflop, I'm raising just about any two cards from the SB there. I don't like the completion preflop.
