What is 2p2s motivation for getting involved? To determine whether they should ever run ads on the website in the future?

Why would anybody care about restoring Absolute's reputation? There are at least 6 bigger poker sites that haven't been shown to rip off their customers. The best thing that could happen for online poker is for everybody to hear what they have been up to and that they go busto. That way there is powerful incentive for the owners of the remaining sites to run an honest game.

I appreciate MM is acting with the best intentions, but it is misguided to throw these crooks a lifeline.

I agree with this.
If AP survives this fiasco I can imagine other poker sites owners going "Hmmmmmm", especially the ones that don`t run so well.

Well I think it's more that a site's stockholders need to be keeping an eye on what the management is doing. I really don't care if the current owners of Absolute were involved or just asleep at the switch. They deserve to lose their company over this. I'm opposed to anybody trying to help them come through it.

I'm going to agree with this also. At this point in time I have little faith they are protecting players account balances and not dipping into them for operating costs, paying back cheated customers, etc etc.
