must be a 16 year old...

i'll admit i've come around on him, from 'just another down south rapper' to 'ridiculously hot sometimes', but i have to point out that 'sometimes'...

the birdman album was fire. other things have been fire.

but let's not start talking top 3, or top 10, or probably even top 25...he may slide in at #22 or something, but jay-z, nas and rakim, and one of those is bumped from top 3 by....lil wayne???

maybe you just personally don't like lil wayne's flow or something, but don't try to make the assertion that lil wayne is bad for hip hop. don't act like you're some authority on good and bad hip hop.

lil wayne is at the elite level of hip hop these days, and will someday supplant jay-z. not yet though.

Holy crap Jay-Z is aweful. Why does anyone listen to any of his crap? His ryhmes suck, they're unoriginal and tired. His uh-uh uh-huh, huh-huh crap in EVERY SONG!OJJH AV%Y #O YP%A is beyond irritating.

I too was avoiding this thread but you've lured me in.

Saying Lil Wayne is a crappy MC is outright ridiculous. You can say you don't like his songs/voice/style, etc.
But you can't say he's not talented.
