$10/180 Challenge 12.18 @ 8:30 EST
ok, tonight should be fun and i hope to get a good amount of players - we won't have the challenge (at least i won't be able to run one) for the next two weeks due to the holidays! so, in a sense this will be the 2006 $10/180 challenge championship ... who's in?! [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]<u>When</u>: Monday, December 18th @ 8:30pm EST (20:30) All members must register for the next FOUR 10/180's on PokerStars AFTER 8:30pm EST (20:30 Server time). If a tournament has less than 50 registered at 8:30 then that tournament will be the first one. I will post in this thread when we are starting. [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]<u>Scoring</u>: Missed tourney = 0 points 180-150th = 0 points 149-120th = 0.5 points 119-100th = 1 point 99-80th = 2 points 79-60th = 3 points 59-40th = 4 points 39-30th = 5 points 29-20th = 7 points 19th = 9 points 18-15th = 10 points 14-10th = 12 points 9th = 15 points 8th = 17 points 7th = 19 points 6th = 21 points 5th = 24 points 4th = 27 points 3rd = 30 points 2nd = 35 points 1st = 40 points Wins and final 3's are HUGE in this stucture. Tie breakers go as follows. 1st tiebreak - Total Monies Won 2nd tiebreak - Highest Finish 3rd tiebreak - 2nd Highest Finish If tied after that it is chopped Payout structure is the same as the 4/180 challenge - notice it's a bit different than the 20/180 challenge - a bit flatter. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]<u>Payouts</u>: Less than 10 = 1st-100%, 10-19 = 1st-80%, 2nd 20%, 20-29 = 1st-60%, 2nd-30%, 3rd-10%, 30+ = 1st-50%, 2nd-25%, 3rd-15%, 4th-10%

hmm.. I'm very tempted to play. My bankroll isn't that great but I had a blast in the 4/180 last week. I think that I realized I played much better when I wasn't thinking about the money to be won in the tourney(IE.. I finished 1st in one of them, but I didn't even think about the money I won, it was more the respect of actually finishing well compared to others).

Out of the 8 teams playing I put up the 2nd best score by 40 points (average point total per game is 90, I scored 138. Of course, my opponent had every player last week that went off (Brees, R. Johnson, L. Betts, etc). He beat me by 30. Made me sick, especially when I remembered that the week before he threw the game so that he could play me in the first round (He put up his big fantasy games of the year against me so he felt like he could do it again [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ) So, in the consulation game this week for 5/6th place, of course I have the top score of the league. Stupid freaking Brees. Brag: I put up huge points last few weeks in fantasy football Beat: I drafted Brees and released him after his 4th game of sucking at the beginning of year and never found a good QB to start (FU Kitna, Hasselback, Rivers, etc) and his new owner rode him to victory over me

my fantasy team sucked all year, no playoffs for me.
oh yeah, pretty sure i am IN tonight after a couple weeks hiatus. watch out, i ran g00t this weekend.
