How much can Tiger benchpress?

Yep, and it would be idiotic for him to, but I do recall an SI article 6-7 years ago that said he could do 300.

Wow, guess I grossly underestimated how strong the guy was. I figured him to be more the endurance type able to put up 135 like 40 times but not max out that high. My guess was 240-260. Multiple reps at 300+ is redic, especially for a golfer. The only guys I've seen at a gym able to put up the bar + 3 plates on each side are absolutely hudge.

Unless he specifically said somewhere how much he can bench, I dotn get where you guys are basing your 300 (and for more than one rep), number on.

In a golf digest article in 2000 he said "Tiger: "My max was 240 pounds, but that was a while ago. I'm not telling you how much I can do now. Gotta have some secrets, you know."

I think him doing 300 now is pretty reasonable.

Yeah I would be surprised if he could do 300. He's not that big in person. Or to put it this way: he's smaller than anyone else I've seen bench 300 at the gym.
