Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts
serious question: how can you see them on your desktop? Wouldnt it make more sense to print this out and hang it on the wall or something?

Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts
The nut flush draw is a good hand only with some other outs.
Even your better straight draws lose a lot of their value when there are 2 suited cards on the flop. Folding is rarely a bad idea facing 3+ opponents ; raising is rarely a bad idea head's up. Steal those blinds ! With good draws, you want to commit either the minimum or most of you stack on the flop. Even bad players can have good hands. |

Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts
I'm a noob so I doubt I can contribute timeless knowledge, but one thing I've learned quickly is that combo draws, even with many outs, but to less than the nuts, in multiway pots are essentially worthless. Often you are sandwiched between a better straight draw and a better flush draw (not to mention made hands).

Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts
Bit of a warning, I have done similar things with post it notes before.
They work great for a few days....then they become part of the scenery. Only way I have found to combat this is to change colors every few days. |
