"ts plays like this that lets me go on the rushes like i do.
i ran $500 into $3000 a couple weeks back.
this week i ran $500 up to $5400."

if you are so good, pls teach us how to play...clearly we are not worthy of offering advice as i have NEVER been on a run like that playing solid poker.

a lot of my play.
is really unorthodox.
but it works.
only in this shorthanded environment.

no one could possibly bluff in this spot.
which is why i did.
cause logically speaking i cant be bluffing.
so i go ahead and bluff.

I'd fold preflop and probably fold on this flop as well.

I just like folding

Rudeboi,

this is a good thread. i don't know why all these guys have sticks up their asses. anyway i have a few questions for you.

do you make the same play preflop with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]? what about 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]? do you randomize your play by only playing club+diamond offsuit 4-gappers or does it depend on something else? basically what's your cutoff for offsuit 4-gappers in these multiway spots? i've been looking to open up my blind play and these seem like really good spots to do so. you know, if you do things like this people will really think you're creative. plus, it seems like these types of hands can allow you to go on really big rushes.

another thing. say the turn were an offsuit K (back to the J6o hand you posted). would you still bet out as a bluff here? it seems like this bluff is even better because there are more better hands that can fold. i mean, in your hand you already beat everything other than a straight or a pair better than yours. but if the turn were a K, you could actually push people off of not only pairs of Qs but pairs of Ks. this is a key component to any bluff right - how many better hands you can get to fold? so betting a K is actually better than betting the 9, right?

one last thing, what do you mean when you say the following:

"i know these players are too smart.
to fall for a checkraise."

the thing about the checkraise bluff here is that you not only win the pot, but you win the extra bets that everyone puts in before they fold to your raise. this type of play seems like it could make the rushes we are discussing even bigger. i don't know, it just seems like a good chance to gamble. let me know what you think (wait i think i understand now).

i'm looking forward to your answers.
