I think plenty of lines are viable. I dont think that Victors line on this hand is much worse than 3 betting flop or raising turn regardless of turncard.

Victor,

You're right I could have worded it better. It's not what I meant. I meant you seem to be playing scared and I can see how what I said could come off as rude, and maybe it was. I apologize.

I think this board is a lot more draw heavy and his range is a lot wider so I wouldn't put him on top pair. There are a lot of hands I would play like villain here and most of them don't have a 9 (though I would play a 9 the same on flop/turn)

For the record, I think your play with QQ here is fine and think danza is way off.

with the 9 pairing, i still raise turn or river, though i'll usually now fold to a 3bet. i prefer raising river in this hand (assuming no 4 str), as i think there is less likelihood of him going crazy with a 3bet bluff or overplayed mid pair on river than turn.

I'm really shocked people don't like putting more bets in. I would still raise this 9 on the turn, the only turn i don't raise is a 7 or an 8.

To each his own i guess.

danza suggested 3-betting the flop. he suggested raising the turn as played. saying he's "way off" is way off. there are a million hands he has on the flop that did not improve to trips on the turn (22 33 44 5x 8x 6x 7x QJ QT JT T7 spades).
