Default Western Union deposit to PokerStars

I am a US player, and I am trying to deposit to PokerStars via Western Union. It says to send the money to Guadalupe Perez Rodriguez in San Jose, Costa Rica. I just wanted to confirm that this was legit before sending a bunch of money to some random person in Costa Rica. Can anyone validate this method of depositing on Stars? Thanks in advance!

It is legit. Make sure you spell the name correctly.

LOL. I'm not sure which is funnier. That you have to send the money to "Guadalupe" in "Costa Rica," or that it is actually "legit."

I believe you when you say it's "legit," but it is still pretty funny. Gotta love Bill Frist.

This is standard practice among online sites that use Western Union to receive your funds. Understand that this is a one use name. If you need to deposit more money and use Western Union, you will need to contact Poker Stars and they will give you a new name.

Legit and easy, so is E-passport (tried both had my money on site within the hour).

Don't no why everyone whines about US players can't play, just becasue you can't use your credit card on the website.

Mine went to Kalaba Talaban in the Phillipines. It was legit, although the Dep't of Homeland Security might be monitoring me now.
