Default Stars 30$ stt vs 50$ stt

Hi all,

First post on stt
My strongest game in poker is definitely nl sngs and I've been a winning player on stars for a while now at the 30$ level. This summer my bankroll had gotten sizable enough for me to start to want to take stabs at the 50$ level. I had about a 4K roll and in my 20 game stab I got raped with 3 money finishes and no wins. There could be some tilt/frustration/nitty higher level play variance in mentioned stab but the experience led me to the following questions:

- what kind of rolls do you play at 50$ sngs on stars
- what kind of adjustments do you make going from 30$ nl sngs to 50$
- what is a good average $/game rate for 50$ level

I don't know the difference between the two, but a decent roll to multitable the $50s should be like 200-300 buyins. 4k is a pretty short roll if you are thinking about doing this for a primary source of income. I'd say you should have 10k before playing these, but I am a nit when it comes to bankroll management.

No use asking is there!! Any hints?

Vers, I've never played with 200 buy in bankroll but I went through a very dry spell this summer and I think I'll look into your advice as playing with a smaller bankroll can be mentally taxing.

15% at $50 while multitabling? Are you serious?!

I can't see how that'd possibly be sustainable/attainable. I would say like 6% ROI while multitabling this level would be pretty good.

i've never played them, but I have to feel more than 6% is sustainable in a non turbo, otherwise why not play turbos?

Basically, the main difference between levels is that... fish is still fish, but the regulars get better as you move up. I've heard the same thing from a few peepz so it's not just my opinion FWIW.
