preflop here is horrendous. why would you raise AK UTG+1 and give away your hand strength? now look at all the trouble it's gotten you into postflop.

i limp this preflop in this situation. especially given relevant stack sizes.

i agree with krantz

ummm level? I raise this like 90% of the time PF.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've only been raising it about 75%.

Is this a big mistake?

i try to mix up my play in this spot. i like to raise about 60% of the time here, limp reraise 20% of the time, limp call like 15%, and limp fold like 5%.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is so confusing. I will just limp-fold this hand from now on.

It's also a good idea to mix up your timing with AK...

60% of the time I instaraise, 20% I let my timebank run to the last second before raising, and 20% of the time I time out

mix it up

just do what grim does. raise 20% of your stack pf then fold to any additional action.

I do the same and keep an excel spreadsheet open on my desktop keeping track to make sure the ratios are exactly right every session.

What's the name of villain on Crypto? I know alot of these players. Thing is the way some of them play, he could have QT there and be raising the straight draw, unlikely but possible.
