[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Instead he goes absolutely insane for no reason. [/ QUOTE ] While they were over-the-top and ridiculous, there WAS an implied reason for his actions. [/ QUOTE ] I wonder how many people didn't understand the pizza boy represented Ryan. [/ QUOTE ] I thought it was pretty obvious, but that wasn't what sucked about it. I mean, they made it seem like they were kidnapping the kid and holding him under their power. Any reasonable person would have just been walked out, not to the conference room. Maybe if they had Dwight forcefully drag him to the conference room and lock the door, it would have been better. [/ QUOTE ] if I was this kid, I would totally sit int he conference room, and nto be working, it would be ridiculous to leave and go back to work when you have this as an excuse not to. |

Re: The Office Season 4 Ep 3
[ QUOTE ]
Am I the only one who finds that Steve Carell (sp?) isn't that good, isn't that funny, and his whole persona and constant "I'll be back" voice is beyond retardedly annoying now? [/ QUOTE ] Ummmm...isn't Michael supposed to be annoying? I watch at least two minutes of every episode peeking through my fingers as my hands cover my face because it is so awkward and inappropriate. It evokes an emotional response. We hate Michael Scott. Thus, Steve Carrell (and the writers) are doing a good job. [ QUOTE ] I mean don't get me wrong, he has his moments of brillaince, but certainly not like Dwight, Creed, Kevin who always seem to be on point [/ QUOTE ] ...for 30 seconds an episode (Creed, Kevin). If the show revolved around one of them, you'd be annoyed with them too (and probably bored silly). Not everything of their's would be gold. Kevin can't saying "If John Cougar Mellancamp wins an Oscar, I'm going to be a rich man." for 22 minutes every week. |
